女人們都有過為了變美而減肥的經驗吧？！雖然嘗試過許多花招，但體重就是怎麼樣也掉不下來，不過你有沒有注意到，其實不良的生活習慣在不知不覺中也會阻礙減肥計畫。「睡眠」就是其中之一，多項研究發現，睡不飽會變胖是真的，睡眠不足不但導致你的減肥計畫失敗，甚至會讓老化速度加快。

到底為什麼睡不飽會變胖呢？最大的原因就是因為睡眠不足導致卡路里攝取過量，而卡路里消耗機能卻降低，這是造成肥胖的最主要兩大因素。在睡不飽的狀態下，大腦會感到處於「危機狀態」，這時候促進食慾的飢餓激素會增加分泌，而負責提高飽足感的體瘦激素則是會減少，自然會比平常更想吃東西，熱量也會攝取更多。

現在針對睡眠和肥胖問題的研究也越來越豐富，根據不同國家的研究，像是美國睡眠研究專家透過實驗發現，當睡眠被剝奪，白天又不能補眠的狀態下，受試者在缺乏睡眠的時候會胃口大開，就像「鬧饑荒」一樣，即使根本不需要攝取那麼多，也會潛意識的猛吃東西。

義大利科學家也曾進行6年的追蹤調查，發現如果每天多睡1小時，肥胖機率就可以減少3成。另外，科學家也指出，睡覺的室溫也會影響肥胖機率，如果在室溫高於20℃的環境中睡覺，會比睡在低溫環境的人，肥胖機率高出將近一倍。

不過這項數據還是會隨著各國地理位置不同而異，台灣肥胖醫學會蕭敦仁醫師說，台灣最舒適的室溫其實是在25℃左右，但是低於25℃會不會導致肥胖，至今台灣雖然還沒有研究證實，不過室溫影響肥胖機率已經是個值得注意的問題了。

睡眠時數也跟體重有關係，根據研究發現，平均睡7個小時，體重是最輕盈、最好的，但並非過瘦；睡5~6個小時的肥胖機率是7小時的兩倍，但睡8小時以上的肥胖機率卻是3倍。不管是睡太少還是睡太多，都會導致肥胖，因此，睡眠時數最好適量即可，睡飽了就應該立刻起床，別賴床，否則會越睡越胖。

醫師建議，台灣人每天最佳的平均睡眠時間約7個小時，上班族因為工作關係即使無法睡足7小時，也至少要睡滿6小時才健康，而熬夜是最忌諱的，不但會變得遲鈍，也會特別想吃高熱量食物。

睡眠對人何其重要，不只是影響健康，也會導致老化。睡眠能刺激細胞更新、再生，與抗衰老的關係也密不可分。「你昨天晚上有睡飽嗎？」，這不只是打個招呼那麼簡單，而是真的很重要！想要減肥、變美麗的第一步，不妨先學習當個睡美人，在床上躺平補個眠再說吧！保持良好、健康的精神狀態，身體自然能啟動瘦身機制。
